I'm only in St. Paul for a short time and was looking for a quiet spot to enjoy some coffee and a small meal. The place is so small I almost biked right by! Inside, it's a cozy and humble space with dim lighting and lots of antique-looking art, most of which appears to be for sale! There are a good amount of tables with cushioned chairs and an outlet strip along one wall.

I enjoyed the beautiful red latte, a pumpkin pecan muffin, and an asparagus and leek quiche. The quiche tasted homemade but the crust wasn't the crispiest (making me think maybe it wasn't freshly prepared this morning), however, I thought it was delicious and really enjoyed it. The muffin was fantastic with lots of sugary goodness on top. The red latte was new to me, and I loved it! A subtle hint of the red tea with a slight sweetness and some cinnamon. Yum.

If you're looking for a sparkling clean, fancy new spot to drink some coffee--this isn't your place. But if you want some peace and quiet, a cozy atmosphere, and some great coffee and tea: hit up Cahoots!

What a cute little place! And HOLY BREVE! The best breve I've had in a long while. Maybe it was the snowy weather that made it taste so good, but I'm pretty sure it was the amazing espresso and craftsmanship of a very kind barista. The foam stayed intact the entire way through (my favorite part), and was delightfully sweet from the milk.

My partner and I stopped in to play some board games and drink some coffee, our favorite Saturday AM activity. There are only a few tables suitable for this, as most of the tables are pretty small (and very close together). We likely wouldn't come back to play board games, but would come back to grab another breve.

I love the neighborhood feel of the place, it seems like most people coming in knew the baristas and each other which made it seem very welcoming. I also loved the lighting, the lamps at the table made it feel so homey.

Cahoot is definitely a cozy small hole in the wall coffee shop! There isn't a lot of tables and things arent super fancy inside but it's definitely unique and honestly that's one thing I like about it. I notice that every chair inside is almost different (old but cozy used office chairs lol) and there is a small patio in the back that is nice in the spring/summer.

I had a iced Carmel latte with soy milk which was super delicious and a giant monster cookie.

It could get a big busy/full because it is small and not too far from a couple universities/schools in the area. But the noise level was fine- I came here a couple times for work meetings.

    Pretty much street parking only!

Great, cozy shop to grab a cup of coffee or tea. I had a lavender latte, which was very good. They also have a wide selection of tea that I'm looking forward to trying next time. They have a large window in the front that makes it a great place to study or people watch while you drink your beverage.

A really cute and competitively priced cafe!!
I got a vanilla almond milk latte and it was good, but not anything incredibly special. However, the banana chocolate chip muffin I ordered was amazing, probably one of the best muffins I've ever eaten (and I've eaten a lot of muffins).
The barista was super friendly, sweet, and helpful.
Overall, I recommend Cahoots for a quick coffee break or to sit down and catch up with a book or with some friends!
